This was one of the best books i have read in a long time. I love crime, detective books but do find that sometimes they spend too much time on the case and not enough on other aspects such as personal lives of the detectives etc. This book was not like this fortunately and i got to get a feel of the detective and what was happening in their live at the same time as them working on a case which in this book was the murder of a famous young actor and the murder of a homeless man.
This was the second book in the series and i had not read the other before hand but still understood this book and feel that it works as a standalone however after reading this, i am looking forward to reading the other two books to see what they are like too.
