Wanted more pace
Hmmm, this is a difficult one to review
After reading the premise and the first chapters I was really interested to see where it would go.
I hadn't realised that this book is a sequel to the author's previous novel which I haven't read. If I had have read the previous book, I may have enjoyed it more and felt more invested in Nora as a character. Maybe her character was developed in the first novel, but I found her a little one dimensional.
There is no doubt that there is a lot of action in this book, however it never quite gripped me and I felt the pacing was a little slow.
Not one for me I'm afraid, but you may love this if you have read and enjoyed the author's first offering
