I enjoyed this book extract from page one because it had a hurried, busy feeling to it. I could see myself as a once very busy mum coping with a manic family. Both mum's were full of nervous energy and hope that the day would pan out as planned. All the characters were interesting and fully rounded individuals. Definitely a book I would like to win.
