I'm really not sure who this book is aimed at?
Is it adults, teenagers, lovers of crime, or casual reads?
Beyond the hint that someone has been found dead in the opening pages, it all seems a bit bland, with a lot of stereotyped characters and premises not really going anywhere.
Certainly nothing in it to make me want to read further.
Obsessive parents, the upper class, the dangers of social media and the horrifying influencer phenomenon. Take your pick but there doesn't really seem to be any strong USP coming through from the first impression, I don't feel engaged by any character or plot hint, and I wouldn't want to read more.
