I enjoyed reading this book. I also love the front cover and colours used!

The book revolves around the parents of the children attending Glass Lake Primary School. The main character Beverley Franklin will do anything to ensure her school's reputation stays positive. So when a scandal involving her daughter threatens to postpone the school musical, Beverley tries to do everything possible to protect her daughter.

I like the two different timelines through out the book which gradually link. There are several unexpected twists and turns throughout the book. Who died? Was this a murder? How did they fall? Were they pushed?. You were always left guessing to the very end!!

Although the book covers serious subjects, such as the consequences of social media, it was at times very funny. I thought this book was very relatable to some of the events that occur in schools, especially in today's society.

This is the first book I have read by this author, Eithne Shortall and I will be looking at more. I would recommend this book as it was a great read!
