I watched the Home Fires series on TV and am excited the next part is now going to be available to read. The extract gives a great intro to the main WI female characters. What I love is that as a reader you see their combined works at the WI and their public persona, but also get to see their most personal thoughts as individuals and their lives 'behind closed doors'.
