I have never read this style of writing before. We get shown how is mind is working. Whether when he's remembering something or writing a letter. I think every character is complex here, the man himself, his daughter (My father is a teacher and he's strict too. He doesn't talk to me so I'm not so close to him. Maybe I can understand him better after reading some more about their relationship), his wife (mostly what were they arguing about if there was such love between them) and of course Angela, I would love to read more about her too.
