I was unexpectedly drawn in to this, so glad I got the chance to read it. I didn't know what I would make of this type of read and as I read more I just wanted to keep reading. It was different and I liked that, and it was unpredictable.
I like how much time this novel spans and what we get to see changing, in the world as well as in relationships. I like both characters of Harry and Charlie and their point of views. Even if they're young they go through a lot of hardships, both alone and together.
It's also partly sad, we lose a lot of people but everyone keeps on fighting and being strong.
I'll be sure to check out the other books by this author in the future.
