really enjoyed this
We are introduced to main character Alexis on her first day back at work after maternity leave. Leaving baby Gigi is the last thing she wants to do but she has more than one 'helping hand'. Even with access to the best technology due to the nature of her job, she still questions if this is the right thing to do and if she is still up to the job in hand. The book feels like an insight into the goings on within Her Majesty's Secret Service with humanising elements and a disturbing look into how our individual worlds and private lives could develop into a 'public playground', due to the ever increasing development of applications.
We all like some element of social media, but sometimes, allowing people to explore every aspect of your life behind a closed door where they can remain anonymous can be more than harmless fun.
