This is a story about Zoe & her struggles to get away from her violet & abusive husband Daniel. Zoe thought she had found the perfect man when she met Daniel, but her life suddenly changed for the worse once they were married.
The story didn't go in the direction I thought it would or expected it to but it was gripping and I struggled to put it down.
I know it this was a fictional story, but it really did highlight how difficult a victim can find it to escape a relationship that ends up violet and abusive. I thought it was very well written and although the plot jumped about it was still easy to follow.
The ending also wasn't the conclusion I was expecting and to a degree I enjoyed this.
I would definitely recommend this book - it was a thriller and a half!
