"Kiss me, Kill me" started really well. Although it alternated between "then" and "now", the story was easy to follow, it flowed well and was quite a page turner. It has a pleasing, atmospheric cover too. So, I enjoyed the first part of this thriller but, for me, things went downhill about half way through the book.

A new major character suddenly appeared without preamble, apart from a very brief mention earlier in the book, and it all seemed too far-fetched and unbelievable. The multiple killings didn't seem to bother Zoe as much as they ought to have done, and once again she seemed far too willing to accept the terrifying situation in which she found herself (despite her attempts to escape). The second half of the book seemed somewhat flat and much less tense than the promising start of the novel.

I would have liked to discover why Daniel acted the way he did, and why Zoe put up with his controlling behaviour, but I was no wiser at the end of the book, which was disappointing too.
