This is by far the best book in this trilogy. It's packed with action, drama, emotion and tension - I loved it! Unlike the previous two books, all the characters were completely distinctive and I didn't at any point feel like I'd lost the thread of the plot. I loved how the writing switched perspective seamlessly from character to character and I especially enjoyed hearing more from Seneca. I devoured this book in one sitting - a fabulously woven story of murder and suffering and it's long-term effects. I'd definitely recommend this to any fans of teen fiction who like a bit more action and grit to their stories and for that matter any fans of Pretty Little Liars! I can't wait to see what Shepard comes up with next.
