I really enjoyed Laura's previous novel The Favour (I literally raced through it in a couple of days), so I'm very excited to read Let's Pretend! I've always been fascinated by stories about the dark side of celebrity, and so this theme, along with the thriller/murder mystery vibe I get from the blurb, is right up my street. I really like Laura's writing style, and the narrator here reads like a very strong character that I'm intrigued to know more about.
