I had really high hopes about this book as it featured many things i look for in a novel. I was excited to read from the perspective of a child actress and found the synopsis quite a unique take.
I found the writing really easy to follow however the pacing seems a bit too slow for me. I couldn't get into this book as much as I would have hoped to have been.
The settings were written well, but I didn't really enjoy the characters enough to care what happens to them. The main character was a bit boring as a narrator, the side characters were dry and had no personality. I get that that what the writer was maybe trying to do but it made me not really want to read about them. There was nothing really making me want to come back to read on. The main plot fell short of what i imagined it to be. I feel a bit let down by this book but I would still consider this book if you like to read about the acting world and such. Would be interested in another of this authors work as i did like the writing.
