Lily Thane is a struggling actress after finding fame as a child star. She was best known as an orphan 'Little Lucie' at the age of 4. When Lily bumps into an old friend, Adam Harker who needs a red carpet companion to help him make the big time, Lily agrees to the fauxmance hoping it will help with her career. She has to sign a non disclosure agreement. Everything starts off well but with Adams choice of lifestyle and drugs it soons turn toxic and it also seems someone, who could be a fan of Adam, is also not happy. When Adam ends up dead in a swimming pool after a party it seems like a drug overdose but Lily believes different and tries to work out what happened leaving yiu guessing to the end. This is a story that starts off slow but has a few twists and turns before the end. At first I thought it was a thriller but solving Adams death is only a small part of it. It really shows the dark realities of the showbusiness world.
