The is is the second book that I have read by this author and I felt that I enjoyed this one better. I thought the second half of the book was better than the first half . I thought the first half dragged a bit and I wasn’t sure where it was going . The book focuses on celebrity life styles , the parties , social media and drugs. Lily Thane is an actress who is struggling to get parts and so teams up with Adam Harker to become his fake girlfriend in order to cover up his homosexuality. She gets a lot of publicity from it and so does Adam. The story really gets going when Adam is found dead at a party in a swimming pool. Lily becomes suspicious that his death wasn’t an accident and someone killed him. From this she becomes a bit of a detective to find out who and why. I enjoyed the ending and thought it concluded well. There were parts where I didn’t think that it was well written and the pace of the book was very slow to start and in parts I thought it was supposed to be funny but wasn’t. However I did enjoy it in the end.
