A book about the world of performance and at the centre of it is a fake relationship constructed for progress and success that soon turns into something more serious and deadly.
I just couldn't get into this book (clearly not the reader for it, but I'm sure there's many readers out there who'll thoroughly enjoy it).
It's a story about relationships and a study of how complex they can be, and when they are toxic what can happen.
The central mystery of accident, suicide or murder is the hook that drives the plotting and through this journey the reader gets a glimpse into celebrity and the superficial world that runs alongside it.
This may be a great book for a summer evening read, it doesn't have the depth I'd usually seek, but that's just me.

Thanks to Readers First and the publisher for the gifted copy.

If you're looking for a mystery set in a world of celebrity then give this a try.
