This book had me gripped from the first few pages. The pain caused in a split second by a seemingly innocent mother pulled at the heart strings. I think the title is very apt and I was eager to discover further little secrets. As you find out more about each character you want to talk to them and give them advice. Each character can be pictured and this is due to the detailed writing style.
The writing style is appealing and makes you want to read each chapter as quickly as possible. You urge Marin on and want her to successfully destroy her husband's mistress. At the same time you want Derek to get his comeuppance not believing that he has embarked on an affair when his wife is grieving and crying out for his support.
I would highly recommend this book of you like an intriguing thriller that has surprises throughout it. Well worth reading. 5 stars!
