'Live A Little' is not the type of book I would usually read and I must admit the cover was extremely pink and girly which put me off a little, however having read the blurb and the opening extract it seemed that it had more depth than I first thought. The book was certainly engaging and entertaining showing two very different sisters on an American Road Trip.
I particularly enjoyed the sections devoted to the interactions and history of the sisters, they seemed fleshed out and believable, if rather dramatically grim. However I found the personalities and actions of the sisters rather extreme and unbelievable. This did lead to an entertaining story line but it meant that I found both characters rather unlikable and wasn't particularly invested in the outcome. I found the book was quite long and my eagerness to find out what happened dwindled a little as the book progressed.
However, I said it was mainly and entertaining read and would perhaps be good for a holiday, beach book.
