Ahhh when I saw this book the cover, the blurb, every stood out and I thought it would be fab!!
I love reading about female friends ships and sisterhoods and all those tight bonds and relationships that are so important and so much fun to read about.
Unfortunately this wasn’t exactly what I expected. The scene setting was ok, but I felt like more could have been done. Especially considering the point of the story was a bit of self discovery, I wanted more about the location and how it made everyone feel.
I think the characters were ok, but I didn’t gel with them as much as I would have liked.
The story was fine, and I didn’t dislike it, I was just a bit disappointed because I had such high expectations.
