I really like the way the chapters seem to be set out around the dogs in this books and I loved the opening of the book. The imagery of the pigeons was brilliant and it built up the character really well.
I enjoyed what I read but not sure on the style as there are some phrases which talk about it like everything has happened a long time ago (As the months and years went on and I met more and more customers...) and I generally want to feel more in the action of a book than this, but that is probably personal preference.
The title seems a little cliche to be honest, and I get the impression that this will be in a smilar vein to Jenny Colgan books which I don't mind for a quick holiday read but wouldn't probably pick up to read normally.
