It starts with a relatively common picture. A disillusioned and unpassionate admin girl, bored to death after her dreams of working in 'art' failed against the dull life of adults. 'Is this it?' she'd ask her mother. 'Is this the life of adults?'
But then a random meeting with a person walking someone else's dog leads her to leave the job and start her own dog walking agency.

The first walk is with a Jack Russel who would never stop catching the ball. I know the type of dog.

The book is not surprising. There are no twists and no cathartic moments. Yet, the narrative engages the reader. It propelled me to read even if I was only half-interested. There is something quirky, at points even curious about the main character. Something will come up. Not in the first chapters, but maybe later on in the novel it will.
