As someone who lives in London and LOVES dogs, I was drawn in by the title and premise of this novel. I love the idea that the dogs have personalities and characters and prove to be essential to the plot and the way it's told so far in the extract is charming. I love that this is a story of self-discovery and not simply a romance novel (though would be intrigued to see if she does ditch her current boyfriend for a nicer, dog-loving partner!).
