Great concept - we all dream of escaping
The title of this book intrigued me and once I read the synopsis I was totally hooked. Having spent many years climbing the career ladder despite the many benefits that it brings I have dreamt of change many times.
This story is inspirational but also very real. The main character, Kate, takes a chance after a chance encounter and gives it her all despite many obstacles being put in her way. I enjoyed the ups and downs of the story and all if the characters and locations in the story. I felt like a lived Kate's journey with her which left me completely hooked and invested in her story.
This is a book about taking a chance and taking control of your own life while figuring out what it is that will make you happy along the way. It had me laughing, crying and sympathising with Kate. It also left me wondering whether I should make any changes in my own life and what my dream might be if I did.
