London’s No.1 Dog-Walking Agency by Kate MacDougall, I loved this book!!
It follows Kate’s many adventures starting near new business as a dog-Walker in London, starting with her first dog. Frank is a girl Jack Russell who lives in Greenwich. We then meet many other dogs along the way such as Winston, a beautiful chocolate Labrador in Vauxhall, Stanley , a rescue mutt (age unknown!) from Clapham and posh upmarket pooch Dolly, a silky terrier who resides in Notting Hill. Some of these stories made me cringe, some made me laugh out loud and one made me cry (I won’t post a spoiler, but let’s just say I’m easily upset when it comes to animals!)
We also get to meet Kate’s dog, Mabel, a Jack Russell who is quite a character!! and experience Kate’s first pregnancy and baby.
I highly recommend this book as a charming and heart-warming read, perfect to read in the garden or cozied up on a rainy day.
