An amusing first hand account of running a dog walking business in London.

We follow Kate who leaves her job at Sotheby's following an incident with some ugly pigeon statues and starts her own dog walking business despite her mother#s misgivings.

We then follow her story, through the recession on 2009, the Olympics and her growing family. We learn to love the dogs she meets and marvel at some of the owners. Some seem to be barking!

Finlay, Kate's other half, hates dogs but fully supports her business, and relents and allows Mabel into their lives.

This was a compelling read, which leads you through the lives of 'ordinary' people doing a job they love to earn a living, as well as supporting the adage never work with animals or dogs.

I fully recommend this book to dog lovers (and cat lovers alike) as it will reinforce that we can learn a lot from animals.
