This was an excellent read! I loved all of the mini-stories for each dog/customer. I also enjoyed Kate MacDougall's discussion of life experiences, family struggles, and other topics. It was as if we were going through each stage of Kate's life with her. This book captures your attention and is a lot of fun to read. The job is brushed of as just walking, but its so much more then that.
This was a light, heart-warming and honest read. I would recommend this book to anyone as the target audience includes basically everyone. As a university student this year, I appreciated how the story depicted Kate's personal reaction to a major life change. How she kept herself motivated to keep doing this job. How she dealt with others telling her she was going to fail.
I liked how it demonstrates to the reader that running a dog walking business is more difficult than you might think. The job is often dismissed as simply walking, but it is much more than that.
I think this book sounds like a fun, light read full of the antics of the people Kate meets and the dogs she looks after. I enjoy books that are both funny and heartwarming, and I believe this would be an excellent choice for a chilly evening!
