It was a fabulously written first few chapters of the book and the link to the durrells is an amazing idea (one of my favourite series). I like the character of penny and I think she fits in well with the novel and I am excited to see what occurs later in the novel. I will definitely be purchasing this book and will be able to read it in no time. The first 35 pages I flew through and I was anticipating what would happen next. I think the plot is fabulous as having something like the durrels so significant to her and that link between them any her father sets up the novel very well. I like how she is looking for adventure suggesting that there will be lots of different characters and occasions even problems. I truly love this book and can’t wait to finish reading it. You can definitely tell it’s well written with the fluent language style and vocabulary used.
