Incredibly readable from the first few words, you have to read more. Loveday is a young woman after my own heart, preferring books to people. She's edgy too, perhaps not your average bookshop worker. She loves her job, customers can be a bit annoying leaving untidy bookshelves, but what can you do? Her life is moving along nicely, but she has a past - don't we all? And soon she is going to have to confront hers because someone else knows about it too, and let's her know. How will she handle it, can she handle it?
The writing is so easy to read, and it's going to be one of those books you can't put down. There's a good sense of place, you can see the bookshop from the words, and visualise Loveday too, with her tattoos.
