A story of friendship overcoming everything
This book was well written and it was easy to read. Each chapter in the story changes from when the main characters Katie and Paul were children to present day when they are adults. The book examines their childhood friendship and how it evolves through the years and focuses on Katie’s emotions and the challenges she and Paul face over the years. They are both from different families and have a very different way of life but want the same 5hings in life.
It took me a few chapters to really get into the book and I did wonder how it would end and what would happen to Katie and Paul. It was an enjoyable book with the main focus on friendship which everyone can relate to. At times the story was emotional and really made me feel for the characters which is a sigh of a good story.
