I was so excited to receive this book to review, especially as it is not the kind of thing that I would usually pick up myself. I had heard amazing things about Holly's writing from reviews of her previous books so, with this being my first book by her, I was very excited to read Love Will Tear Us Apart. The writing was incredible, I am happy to report. I really liked Holly's style and I found myself connecting with her writing from very early on in the book. Unfortunately what was written wasn't giving me enough. By the time I finished the book I wanted more from it. I was expecting some huge plot twist or a massive reveal of something completely shocking, that would tear the two of them apart forever... What I expected never came to be. I really liked the writing and I will definitely be picking up more of Holly's books but I just don't think this one was for me.
