‘M is for Mummy’ is an absolute masterpiece. As a mother myself this was just the kind of read I needed.
Lucy, a mother of an autistic child, decides she needs to shake up her life. Her marriage has gone stale. This book beautifully encompasses the trials and tribulations of being a mother. It reminded me a little of Bridget Jones which I loved even more.
This is a real feel-good book and heart-warming too. I would recommend it to any mothers, it is a nice reminder that you are not alone and other mothers also have the same issues. I am not sure if it is written from the authors real life experiences or if it was just made up, either way it was a great read.
The front cover is simple yet effective and eye catching. It is bright and cheerful. This is the first book by Katy Cox and I don’t think it will be the last. I can not wait to read more of Katy’s novels.
