M is for Mummy is not the type of book i would normally pick up and read however since i won it i gave it a go and i am so glad i did.
This was am amazingly funny, sad and honest story about the most amazing mum. Lucy is wife to Ed and mum to two sons Stanley and baby Jack. Stanley is four years old and is in the process of being diagnosed with autism. It is hard work for lucy to manage especially with a new baby thrown in the mix and her marriage not doing very well. Her marriage to ed has been up and down and at the minute is is quite down as she is doing alot of the work her self whilst ed is not very helpful however there is a reason for that which does come to light as the story progresses.
Ed and Lucy met through there live of music and instead of playing gigs and having the freedom she is used to she is stuck at home and trying ti get back in to work.
This story had me laughing out loud in places.
