This was a really good, easy to read book that was alot of fun.
Thanks to Reader's First for sending me a free advanced copy to read and review.
This book follows the twin stories of Imelda Burova, a Brighton based fortune teller, and Billie a Londoner who discovers after the death of her father that she was adopted. Their stories quickly become linked when Billie is summonsed by Imelda who says she has a message from her mother.
Told between the present day, and the 1970s, the story moves easily between the two time periods and the two lead characters. Personally, I preferred Imelda's character and story, but felt that all the characters were nicely described and brought plenty to the book.
I found this an easy read, it flowed nicely, and although there was more than one strand, it never felt that you were struggling to work out who was who.
A great read.
