I was so glad to win this one! It was something a little but different to my usual go to books, but still with the element of surprise and mystery. I really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't set in the present day. The setting really worked for this one.
This was a very well written book. Descriptive, detailed and engrossing. It kept you intrigued from the get go and had you guessing until the end. I personally found this one very hard to put down. As said, not my usual go to but it really captivated me.
I really liked the characters and the character development. You felt like you really got to know the people and had an idea of who each of the characters really were. And you could almost feel their story playing out around you. I felt like I had been transported into the book and was watching the story unfold around me.
I feel that this is a good summer book. One to read on your holidays, a good way to pass the time and escape reality. I would recommend this to others.
