Pitch-perfect writing for this young age group.

How confusing and scary the past couple of years must have been for young children so Max's story is one which they'll all be able to identify with. I loved the author's simple yet without being condescending writing style and feel sure that this approach will appeal to children ... and will answer lots of questions for them. I've done a lot of counselling with young primary-school children and think that the story is pitched at just the right level for this age group. I've already fallen in love with Max and I'm sure children will too!
The book cover is immediately attractive and would certainly attract my attention.
