Here it is:
I didn’t love this, I didn’t hate it.
I liked the premise of the story, the more brutal parts of the storyline and the ever developing relationships. I wasn’t keen on the staccato nature of how things happened at the start. It felt very wham bam, right that’s that part over. The betrayal between siblings is EXTREME I mean oh my goodness, I really hated it in the early parts of the book and found it just too much to even get my head around. It’s a solid YA fantasy, leaning towards the lower age group of the genre. This is the first in a new series.
