This is an incredibly written book about twin girls in a concentration camp and their journey afterwards. This book is written very well. Although I must admit I found it quite difficult to get in to this book. It was an emotional and horrific tale which broke my heart at many times.
I like that the chapters were split between Pearl and Stasha, the two twins and it was interesting hearing from their points of view what being a twin and an individual is like, especially going through such a traumatic experience.
I am really glad that they were reuinited at the end, so that this book ended on a happy note, this was very satisfying for me as a reader. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy emotional historical books.
