I’m soo glad I managed to pick up a copy of Mothers and Daughters, I have to say it was definitely worth buying! It’s the story of Naomi and both her daughters Martha and Willow, the journey of a widowed mother and her two daughters. It’s fairly predictable yet it’s still a rollercoaster worth experiencing, I don’t regret a thing! Although this has been my first Erica James book, I am certainly considering buying more of her books, her writing style is soo beautifully crafted which has me captivated! There are many secrets which are slowly revealed as we go along the story. Naomi had lost her husband oh so suddenly but we find the hidden truth as we read on. It has some moments where it focuses on the father’s relationship with the characters. I enjoyed growing alongside these women and watching their characters develop throughout the book. I know that this book will forever carry on in my mind and heart. I highly recommend!!
