Naomi and colin have two daughters, willow and martha. colin dies of a heart attack. naomi is then living alone in her beloved cottage near bosham in a place called tilsham. naomi gets a new neighbour who happens to be someone she knew in her younger days. they rekndled tehir relationship. meanwhile martha is married and trying to have a baby. she is very strong unlike willow who has floated through life. she finds what everyone thinks is the perfect boyfriend. willow and martha end up both pregnant. there are drama within the family over all these things.
i found it floundered in places and just kept repeating things over and over. i loved this book in another way as the place it is set is not a real place but bosham is and is very near to where i live and visit everyday.
it was almost like a boring series that you find on netflix. it is family drama but i didnt feel like i was pulled in it all. it is an easy read.
