This was my first time reading an Erica James book and it was so comforting to read. I instantly was involved in the story and the characters and found myself lost in it.
The story focuses on families and the changes that they go through. I loved Naomi and her daughters, they were each strong women in their own right and it was really good to read how they overcame things and faced difficulties together.
The story was gripping, fast paced and kept my interest throughout. The setting of the story I loved and I want to now visit Anchor House. The cover of the book instantly makes you think of summers spent at the beach and was the perfect setting for Anchor House and the story to be set.
This was a beautiful story, one that I can recommend and I will definitely find myself picking up another one of her novels again soon.
