This was the first Erica James book I have read, but it will not be the last. Thank you very much to Reader's First for sending me an advanced copy of this book to read and review, and adding another author to my must look out for list.
This book follows - as the title suggests - a mother and two daughters over a year or so, and how their lives are intertwined. Naomi, the mother has just started a new relationship with a man she knew many years ago. Her daughters are living their own lives, one trying to get pregnant, and one enjoying a new relationship herself.
The characters were all really nicely developed, and different enough to bring something unique to the story. The plot moved along at a really good pace, and the short sharp chapters made it far too easy to stay up late thinking, just one more!!. I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good family tale, I really enjoyed it.
