This book will be a must read for fans of Erica James. It's an easy read and although much if the story is fairly predictable it's one you don't want to put down. Although it's titled Mother's and Daughters it's not only the relationships between Naomi and her daughters Martha and Willow that is explored. Fathers also appear prominently in the story. There are many secrets being kept which are eventually revealed. Naomi's husband died very suddenly two years ago. There's appeared to be a perfect marriage but this is far from the truth. Naomi feels a sense of freedom now he is gone. When she meets Ellis and they fall in love she is excited about starting a new and fulfilling stage of her life. Her daughters, especially Martha, are shocked when she tells them and find it impossible to feel happy for her. The story ends with rather a lot of things happening but it's well worth reading.
