It has been a good few years since I have read a book by Erica James but I am very glad I read this one.

The book contains wonderful storytelling that transports you straight into the world of Naomi, Martha and Willow.

The characters are well rounded and believable. As the story goes on we learn more and more about these 3 women, the men in their lives and the differences in all their relationships.

The book deals with the positives and negatives of relationships, the attitudes towards domestic abuse and the reality of how easy it is to be misled.

The story has a good pace, it is gentle and flowing yet keeps your interest. I loved the characters of Tom, Ellis and Lucas who all balanced out the less salubrious male characters.

It is a joy to see how the bonds between Naomi, Martha and Willow develop overtime, how they navigate difficulties and ultimately come to a stronger conclusion.
