This book is absolutely a work of art, I’m most definitely obsessed with the writing style, it truly being beautiful. It all starts with a conversation at the airport, where our fellow Jeff talks about how he decided to save a drowning man, yet he received no thank you in return. This obviously upset him and as we go along, we see Jeff become more and more drawn into this mystery man’s life. He manages to track down this mystery man and finds himself somehow muddled into his life, whilst still managing to be undercover. The narrator in this story, I believe, is an old classmate of Jeff’s. Oddly, this book worked really well for me, it was most definitely tense throughout the book yet I would also say it was highly enjoyable. Personally, I’ve never had the chance to read any other books by Antoine Wilson, but I’m most certain i will after this read!! I would highly recommend this book for a short read!
