The entire feel of Mr Peacock's Possessions is just that of a classic. The cover is gorgeous and the writing style, off the bat, was poetic and seems to me like some of the classics that I love. The first chapter draws you in immediately with it's lyrical, mystical feel and I can't wait to see where the story progresses.
Historical fiction is a genre that I don't read often but that I definitely enjoy. This seems like the perfect book for me and for anyone else who loves the genre.
