Lynda La Plane writes such good thrillers you just know you are going to get a suspenseful book, especially when it's her very successful Jane Tennison series. I love stories set in the 1970's as that was the decade I was born and it's good to see the political ambience of the time and the opinions of the working classes who feature a lot in these books. Jane is a fabulous police officer to read about and all her stories are suspenseful, intriguing and entertaining, in fact I've noticed all the characters she works with at the station make for an interesting read. I'm very intrigued by the blurb to 'Murder Mile' and it would be a pleasure to read and review this great sounding book. 🤞
