Had been waiting ages to read the book,and wasn't disappointed! Jane tennison was back and at her best.the title page said pick me up and read me. Brilliant and strong story lines,strong determined detectives. Disappointed when the book finished. Jane tennison's family were as irradiating for her as usual. Usual problems with the male police characters . It's going to be a popular book that will fly off the shelf at a library and their will be a waiting list for the book. Was interesting to see Jane tennison career at the start and how she rose up in the police ranks and see her struggles. Hard working and determined. It is a book not to be missed. Looking forward to the next one
