This is one of the most interesting books that I have read in a long time!
Some of the cases in the books are ones I already knew about, but through reading was able to learn much more, others were totally new to me. All of them were absolutely fascinating!
I found it really interesting how murder and crime throughout history has shaped the criminal justice system of today.
The book is really well written and easy to follow, once I started reading I wanted to carry on and it has really peaked my interest in historical crime.
I've also shared this with my husband who has always enjoyed true crime type tv programmes, but rarely picks up a book. He has read it all and really enjoyed it too, especially as it links with his interest in crime and now as he watches cases he has an understanding of how the laws relating to them have come around as a result of historical cases.
