I received this book for joining the website, it was the clear favourite for me judging by the cover and blurb. I adore psychological thrillers and this was so much more than I imagined it to be.
6 years ago Jason's son went missing and was never found. His wife Heidi had a similar experience when her daughter died young. One afternoon Heidi stops by an off-license to get a drink, when she's faced with a young child who she swears is Jason's son Barney. Now Heidi is only basing this on the photo-fits generated by the police, to estimate what Barney would now look like. She's convinced this is Jason's little boy, "Her Husband's Son".
The book explores her claims and looks deeper into the lives of Jason and Barney's mum, Vicky. As well as the depths Heidi will go to fight her theory.
It's fast paced, thrilling and the ending is fantastic. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting a good thriller to get their teeth into. Really fantastic read!
